The Province of Mantua (Italian: Provincia di Mantova) is a province in the Lombardy region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Mantua.

Features

Mantua is surrounded on three sides by lakes. It has three central piazzas, including the famous Piazza Mantegna. Mantua is home to the Gonzaga family's mansion. A relic of Christ's Blood is buried in the local Basilica di Sant'Andrea. The Blood of Christ militia originated in Mantua because of this relic.
